Our Team and Goal

Hi there! We are a group of students from the Carnegie Mellon University, Robotics Institute class 16-264: Humanoids. Our instructors are Chris Atkeson and Akihiko Yamaguchi. Through the course of the semester, we were asked to form a group and create a solution to a robotics problem. As you know, Chris Atkeson has been the mind behind the creation of Baymax so we wanted to contribute to his endeavors. We have formed a group of 7 students are we are currently tackling the challenge to make the Baymax model located in the Newell-Simon Hall, walk. This challenge must be done through building a skeleton inside an inflatable skin that will be able to walk on its own path.
